Caroline Friedlander
Caroline Friedlander, ND, LAc is a Diplomat in Acupuncture from the National Certification
Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist in Georgia and a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Washington State. Caroline has extensive experience in the western clinical sciences and strives to balance this approach with natural therapies that support the body’s own inherent healing abilities. Caroline has studied with fertility specialist Angela Hywood, ND, Jane Lyttleton, author of “Treatment of infertility with Chinese Medicine”, and Debra Betts, author of “The Essential Guide to Acupuncture in Pregnancy and Childbirth”. Caroline completes advanced training annually with the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine directed by Tori Hudson, ND.

Caroline completed post-doctorate training in China at Ruijin Hospital through the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also completed a post-doctorate internship at the Jocelyn Centre for Natural Fertility Management in Sydney, Australia, where she enhanced her knowledge of comprehensive naturopathic care for fertility and reproductive health.

Caroline received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and Masters Degree in
Acupuncture from Bastyr University, the nation’s leading institution in natural healthcare in
2007. While living in Seattle, she practiced at Acupuncture Northwest, a fertility focused
acupuncture clinic, where she worked with reproductive endocrinologists and local fertility
clinics to provide complementary care for her clients. She lectured to a local RESOLVE
chapter on preconception optimization.

Caroline also presented a seminar on Maya Abdominal Therapy Techniques to enhance fertility at the 2010 Atlanta Family Building Conference. Caroline’s interest in fertility enhancement led her to focus her training on Maya Abdominal Massage in 2007. She is currently an apprentice to Dr. Rosita Arvigo, the founder of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Massage™.

Caroline moved to Atlanta with her husband Brad in 2009 and is enjoying being a new mom to their young daughter, Sadie.
